Introduction to Custards

Join chef instructor Katherine Ballein for an enlightening education of the science behind making custards. Custards are the star component of many of our favorite desserts from Crème Brûlée and cheesecakes to lemon curd and pastry creams. Katherine will talk about the elements of custards and demonstrate making these confections: Pâte à Choux, Pastry Cream, Fresh Fruit Tart, Chocolate Pudding, and Lemon Curd, and provide recipes and information for each. You’ll enjoy these delightful desserts with sparkling wine.

Turkey Dinner Cupcakes Class
elé Cake Company810 East Dixie Dr. West Carrollton $45 Join us for this fun event where you can decorate your own Turkey Dinner Cupcakes! Our decorator will walk you through the basics as you create these fun treats. Each guest will receive one dozen cupcakes with an assortment of icings, fondant and fun demonstrations on how to create each detail of this turkey dinner.
Class cost is $45 per person and will last approximately one hour.
Filled Pasta Class

Agnolotti, Casoncelli, Cappelletti, Tortellini, Mezza Luna, oh my! Try your hand at filled pasta and take home what you make. This class is comprised of an hour and a half of hands-on prep followed by a light lunch of salad, pasta, and dessert. This is an “adults only” class (17 years and older)
We have wine available to enjoy at $8 per glass, charged at the end of the class.
Ravioli Workshop

Let Mary Cooney show you how to simplify your Thanksgiving meal without sacrificing flavor or a beautiful presentation. You’ll eliminate a lot of time and stress when roasting the breast (or two) instead of the whole bird. The Turkey Breast is guaranteed to be moist when following Mary’s directions and tips for the season’s mother of all meals. You’ll learn to make velvety Mashed Potatoes and Bread Stuffing that tastes like a nana’s! Blistered Green Beans With Mushrooms and Sherry will finish the plate. And for dessert, Bourbon Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars are sure to satisfy. This menu will be paired with wine.
