Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks Festival

The Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks Festival is Xenia’s signature Independence Day celebration, held at Shawnee Park. This event is hosted alongside the Red, White & Blue Block Party, which takes place in downtown Xenia.
The block party runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring live music, sand sculptures, food trucks, a cornhole tournament, a toy show, a cruise-in, and children’s activities. Families can enjoy face painting, games, and a patriotic bike parade.
At 5:00 PM, the fireworks festival begins at Shawnee Park, with live music, food vendors, bouncy houses, and a bicycle parade. The fireworks display, presented by the Xenia Rotary Club, starts at 10:00 PM and lasts nearly 30 minutes.
