Jay’s Light was founded in memory of UD Coach Anthony Grant’s daughter\, Jayda\, who died in 2022 as a result of mental illness.\n\nIn 2023\, Caresource’s first charity benefit game raised approximately $500\,000 to support adolescent and young adult mental health and suicide prevention initiatives.

DESCRIPTION:It’s that time again to dust off the dog costumes or start working on making one cause Dogtoberfest is almost here!Dogtoberfest is our biggest event of the year and it’s a fundraiser for the Clark County SPCA! The homeless animals need our help so mark your calendars and tell your friends cause we need your support at this event. The public is invited to bring their well-behaved dogs to the winery on 6 foot or shorter leashes. No extendable leashes please. We have a costume contest with judging and prizes at 3pm. If you don’t have a fur friend to bring no worries cause the SPCA will be conducting adoptions at the event. The winery will be offering $15 wine tastings with a special souvenir stemless Dogtoberfest wine glass to take home. We are also bringing out a brand new ultra special wine we have been working hard on! It’s a sweet orange creamsicle flavored wine called Orange Pupsicle that will make your tastebuds burst with happiness. From every bottle of Orange Pupsicle we sell at Dogtoberfest we will donate $5 to the SPCA. So please make sure to show up to the event or order your bottles online that day! There will be live music with Skip Hoyt from 1-4pm. Freddies Franks and Burgers and The Flying Pepper foodtrucks will be onsite so come hungry. There will be basket raffles\, a 50/50 raffle\, vendors\, hoodie sales\, and a bake sale all to benefit the SPCA. Pawz to Pose will be taking dog photos in the garage of the house next to the winery. $10 of each photo is donated to the SPCA so make sure to get your dogs photo taken. There is a $5 a car parking donation so please bring some cash for the parking and raffle tickets. We are so very excited for this event and are hoping for lots of support from the community!

This year’s event\, held on Saturday\, October 4\, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.\, features an elevated new twist: wine pairings curated by Joui Wine\, bringing prestige and culinary artistry to Dayton’s favorite fall tradition.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoui Wine is an establishment comprised of wine enthusiasts based in downtown Dayton\, and shares their passion with the community through curated retail selections\, an acclaimed bar program\, chef-driven small plates\, tastings\, and special events\, making them a perfect partner for this year’s Flavors of Fall. Joui’s owner and CMS Certified Sommelier\, Lauren Gay\, has curated wine tastings to go along with the event’s fall bites and flavors. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“It’s an honor to partner with SunWatch for the first time\,” says Gay. “I’ve curated wines that highlight the flavors of the season—apples\, honey\, and more—while celebrating a historic part of our community.
