Derby Day is BACK and Registration for the Wiener Dog Races is OPEN!
The Oregon District is excited to bring back this crowd favorite event Saturday, May 6 celebrating our shortest K-9 friends! Proceeds of the event will benefit this year’s honorary charity, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
They also partnering with Tito’s Handmade Vodka“Vodka For Dog People” this year! The Oregon District Business Association will be donating $1 from each Specialty Tito’s and Lemonade Julep to the Humane Society of Dayton. Look for the Tito’s and ODBA booth and purchase a beverage to help us put on events like this and benefit our furry friends! Clash Dayton will also be putting on a Derby Fashion Show in the afternoon!
Event Timeline
12:00 pm – informal Dog Costume Party with Tito’s giveaways — all well behaved dogs welcome!
2:00 pm – Annual running of the Wieners! Wiener Dog Races (advanced registration suggested)
4:00 pm – Awards circle
4:30 pm – Clash Dayton Derby Day Fashion Show
6:00 pm – Event concludes. Find your favorite place with a TV to watch the horse race
