Culture Works announces CareSource executive Dan McCabe as Honorary Chair of the 2019 Campaign for the Arts–a community-wide fundraising initiative that mobilizes individuals, companies, and foundations in support of Dayton region arts organizations.

The Culture Works Campaign for the Arts kicks off on Thursday, March 7 from 8:30-10:00am in the Schuster Performing Arts Center Wintergarden. The kickoff will feature performances by Culture Works grantees the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company and The Human Race Theatre Company, opportunities for networking, and a light breakfast. There is no cost to attend; however, RSVP’s are required.

“Our local arts organizations provide world-class programming that makes our region a place where people want to live, work, play, and stay,” said McCabe. “Whether it’s music, dance, theatre, film, literary or visual arts, the arts create a vibrancy in our community that’s enticing for talented professionals looking for a place where they, and their families, will have plenty of opportunities for adventure and fulfillment.”

Immediately following the March 7^th Campaign Kickoff Breakfast, Culture Works will host community leaders at the nearby PNC Arts Annex for Arts Encounters—an immersive event highlighting the innovative educational programs of arts organizations such as the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, The Dayton Art Institute, K12 Gallery & TEJAS, and Muse Machine. Registration is required for this event.
