Want a live tree but don’t want to cut one down? Love the idea of a live potted tree but don’t have space outside to plant your tree?

Deeply Rooted Landscapes will rent you a tree. Your tree will hang with you for the holidays and then return to the nursery. Your tree buddy may be a holiday tree again or end up in the yard of someone in the community.

The point is, the tree LIVES ON! This is a sustainable, zero-waste option for the holidays. Perfect for apartment dwellers and renters!

After the holidays, the trees return to Deeply Rooted Landscapes, producing oxygen, contributing to the ecosystem, and creating wildlife habitat. Locally grown and raised, their trees are potted early in their lives, and their roots are undisturbed. The result is a healthier, better-looking, and happier tree, losing very few needles while in your home. Their potted trees are Eastern Red Cedar (Juniperus virginiana) and White Spruce* (Picea glauca). *Not native to Ohio, but native to North America – fast growing tree that does well in Ohio!

See their Potted Native Christmas Tree Sale at the 2nd Street Market in Dayton. They will be there on Saturday, December 10th, from 9 am to 3 pm. Trees will be 2 to 3 feet tall in 3-gallon pots. Prices start at $50.

If you are renting a tree, you will pay the full amount. You must return the tree to 2nd Street Market on Friday, December 30th, or Saturday, December 31st. If the tree is determined by DRL to be healthy, half of the paid amount will be returned to you.
