The eatery, which was formerly Joe Mamma’s Taste of Dayton, and before that Grip’s Grill, has been opened in partnership between Mason Schindler, who owns Blazin’ Dayton Uncle Boof (Dexter Clay) owner of Uncle Boof’s World Famous Pancake Mix and Zach Keckering. The owners said they’ll be open Friday – Sunday for now and have plans to expand the hours later in October.
The Ugly Duckling, a collaboration between Blazin’ Dayton and Uncle Boof’s World Famous Pancake Mix, is now open for breakfast from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
