Registration still being accepted through this Friday the 10th for the Woeber Mustard Recipe Cook-Off this Friday night at Mother Stewart’s Brewing Co in Springfield.
Your dish must include at least one type of Woeber’s products. You may enter any type of dish – appetizer, dip, main course, hot, cold, etc. No warming trays, or electric will be available. You prepare/cook the product at your house, and bring it in! Simply email John to register.
Depending on total number of entries they reserve the right to break down entries into separate categories with winners in each category. Disposable plates and utensils will be available, but you may choose to plate your entry ahead of time. Please bring your Woeber Mustard bottle with you to the contest.
Dishes will be judged by local celebrity chefs who will will taste each entry and score on taste, appearance, originality, overall quality and use of mustard as an ingredient They will then award trophies and prizes to the top-3 finishers including Woeber Mustard products, a $100 Visa Gift Card for first place, and $50 local gift cards for second and third places. Those who enter a dish will also receive 2 free drink tickets to Mother Stewart’s Brewing Co!
This event is free to attend and samples will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The night will end with live music from The American Landscape, followed by the Champion City Wiener Dog Race ‘21 on Saturday the 11th.
