Chili’s Gametime Happy Hour Deals
Chili’s Grill & Bar has introduced a brand-new Gametime Lineup happy hour menu with drink deals starting at $3 and food starting at $5, Chili’s is crushing their way into football season with special offers and features and more exclusively at the bar.

Fans can chow down on any of the 10 new bar bites while cheering on their team, with prices starting at $5. Chili’s is featuring nine bold wing flavors from House BBQ to spicy Mango Habanero all served with a side of curly fries and house-made ranch. The White Queso Curly Fries are served with a side of house-made ranch and the option to load them up with bacon and jalapeños, while Chili’s Philly is made up of thinly sliced steak, grilled bell peppers and onions, jalapeños and white queso served on a toasted buttery roll.
To sweeten the squad, Chili’s added a Grown-Up Molten to their roster – the fan-favorite Molten Chocolate Cake served with a sidecar of Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey.

Sports Legends Walking Tour
Everyone loves a good sports story and we have plenty with these legends resting peacefully at Woodland: Sprint Car racer, Johnny Shackleford; inventor of the metal baseball bat, William Shroyer; founder of McGregor Golf Club Co., Ziba Crawford; cyclist and race car driver, Earl Kiser; UD Basketball Coach, Tom Blackburn; Harlem Globetrotter, Albert Tucker, Sr.; Lady Rodeo Champion, Marguerite Doane plus many more. Meet at the Eichelberger Plaza at the main gates of the cemetery.

Melting Pot Introduces Oktober FondueFest
Fondue restaurant The Melting Pot is celebrating is celebrating Oktoberfest this year with the introduction of its first ever Oktober FondueFest limited-time menu.

Starting at $39 and available every Monday through Wednesday now through October 26, 2022, the brand’s Oktober FondueFest dining experience features a three-course menu with new Bavarian Beer Cheese Fondue and premium new Bavarian dippers, choice of salad, and new Black Forest Chocolate Fondue served with dipping treats.
Made tableside with Sam Adams Octoberfest beer, Bavarian Beer Cheese Fondue features Kindred creamery cheddar, emmenthaler, parmesan, housemade Bavarian mustard, garlic, and spices. Enjoy with Bavarian-style dippers grilled at the table including hot-off-the grill bratwurst, braised short rib, roasted garlic Dijon potatoes, steamed carrots and cornichons accompanied by pretzel bread, sauerkraut and Bavarian mustard.

Melting Pot is also introducing a new Oktoberfest Cooking Style to enjoy with an entree as part of a four-course meal. Made tableside, the Oktoberfest Cooking Style features Sam Adams Octoberfest beer, onion, garlic, Bavarian mustard, carraway, and bay leaf to give entree selections an authentic, German-inspired flavor.
The Oktober FondueFest menu also adds German-inspired dessert to the fondue pot with the new Black Forest Chocolate Fondue, featuring the rich flavor of dark chocolate with black cherry compote and kirschwasser cherry brandy. The dessert is served with a variety of dipping treats including Black Forest brownies, sweet-spiced apples, strawberries, pearl sugar waffles, bananas, and cream puffs.
Finally, and in honor of the season, Melting Pot is featuring Oktoberfest-inspired beer including Sam Adams Octoberfest Beer, Voodoo Ranger Atomic Pumpkin which has a slight hint of jalapeño and brings a unique twist to this fall flavor inspired beer. Driver’s License Reinstatement Legal Help Clinic at DML
Dayton Metro Library will host a free Driver’s License Reinstatement Legal Help Clinic on Friday September 30, from 1-5 pm, in the Bassani Theater Off Third, 3rd Floor. Patrons may meet with attorneys and local court professionals to discuss what may be prohibiting one from obtaining a license and approaches to license re-instatement.
The Driver’s License Reinstatement Legal Help Clinic is a walk-in event, and assistance will be provided on a first come, first serve basis based on attorney availability.
Volunteers from the following organizations include: Dayton Clerk of Courts, Montgomery County Law Office of the Public Defender, Kettering Municipal Court, Montgomery County Municipal Court, and Vandalia Municipal Court.

Dublin Pub to Bring Back Buffet Brunch
Guests will be able to enjoy all your favorite brunch items including the omelet bar, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, and hash browns. You’ll have the option to add on the carving station for an extra $5, which will always include prime rib and a rotating additional meat that might include pork loin, brisket or ham.

Dayton Independent Film Festival is This Weekend
The Dayton Independent Film Festival (DIFF) celebrates regional filmmaking and stories from Midwestern filmmakers who offer their DIFFerent and unique vision. This weekend they host their 3rd annual Film Festival at The Neon Movies. The festival will showcase films from established professionals, emerging filmmakers, and students. Celebrating impactful stories from narrative, documentary or animation— everyone has a story to tell, DIFF cannot wait to showcase these films and filmmakers.
Melanie Reindl, Director of Programming festival explains that this started out a class a the Univeresity of Dayton and has now grown into a 3 day festival that runs Fri, Sept 23- Sun, Sept 25th.
